Now that you have a new deck, you want to keep it looking beautiful as long as possible. There are are a few simple things you can do.  Three to six months after installation you will need to clean and seal/stain your natural wood deck. We recommend for cleaning that you purchase a reliable deck wash (Olympic Deck Cleaner). You  may also want to buy a pump sprayer. Most of these products have minimal scrubbing involved, but always follow the manufacturers recommendations. After cleaning you will want to install a good deck sealer/stain. We recommend using an oil based product for natural woods, this will help protect your deck. If you have an existing deck you can follow the same instruction as on a new deck.
